Bonjour mes élèves! J'espère que vous allez bien! I hope that you have found some productive things to do, discovered time to do something you love but don't usually have time for, or used this time to try something new. I have cleaned up my back yard and enjoyed seeing all of the signs of spring, cleaned the clutter off of my piano bench and from underneath it (LONG overdue!!) and now I have no excuse not to play, and picked back up a knitting project that was collecting dust. In between all of that, I have participated in a couple of webinars learning how to best keep you practicing while schools are shutdown. In these crazy days I will be sending you some activities to practice content that we have already learned this year so that you can stay fresh and sharp. You will be able to find the links here for now (on the blog page.) For your first at home practice I am giving you some activities for telling time. There are some new/extra words and expressions in the link that I am sharing with you, those are just there for fun. You should concentrate on the basics that we've already learned this year. If you have any questions, feel free to email me. I will be checking my email every day during what were normal school hours. Please stay healthy and safe! I miss seeing your bright faces every day and I look forward to seeing all of you in the classroom again soon. At the bottom of the page for the telling time link, there is a video called "how to say I am a student." It has nothing to do with telling time, but, we did just learn this sentence structure and it is worth listening to. Plus, she gives you some good cultural information about being a student for when you do get to go to France. Directions: 1. Click the link below about telling time in French and take some time to review the phrases and patterns used for telling time in French. 2. Do the attached activities, found in the links below the thought.com link. Link to study first: https://www.thoughtco.com/telling-time-in-french-lheure-1371397 Links for practice. These are best done in the order given: https://www.saultschools.org/cms/lib/MI17000143/Centricity/Domain/484/Quelle%20heure%20est-il.pdf https://www.lawlessfrench.com/quizzes-and-tests/telling-time-quiz/ 3. Here are some other things that you can do to help you remember how to tell time:
