Bonjour tout le monde, I hope that everyone is doing well, staying healthy and enjoying the sun when it is out. While practicing proper social distancing, of course. I miss seeing all of your faces every morning. I've almost finished one of those knitting projects that I've started, and if you've heard my rusty piano playing, I apologize! Here is this week's lesson plan. I've been working hard to try and find things that are educational and enjoyable for you, many that you can share with your family, and a couple of things just for a break even though they are still French. I hope that you like it and can learn something this week. Please take the time to read the hints and directions carefully before you dive in. This is called a Choice Board. It's like a tic-tac-toe board. To start, you must choose three squares that make a tic-tac-toe (horizontal, vertical, or diagonal) otherwise you may not get the content practice necessary to review this week's theme "Family and Adjective Agreement." After you have done a tic-tac-toe you may choose to do any other square that you like. For activities such as DuoLingo or FluentKey please choose a user name that I can tell who you are. Even though things are not 'due' or 'graded' this week, it is nice for me to be able to see who is using what, and how you're doing. Read on for some hints about some of the squares. 1. DuoLingo - if you haven't already, you will need to check your email for the join link and sign up for our class. 2. FluentKey - when you click the link it will take you to a join page. You will need to join our class first and then do the "assignment." 3. Cendrillon - the top of the page will show the audio, you will press the button to start listening. Scroll down and follow along with the printed words. You can click the translation button to have the English show up. I recommend you listen with and without the English showing. Remember that when you do listening practice, one time is never enough. 4. The Van Gogh Museum - there are pages there to download print and color, but before you do that, take the time to click through and learn some more about Vincent Van Gogh, his life and the paintings. 5. For the Quizlet activity, I want you to do that list with the "LEARN" mode. If there was something that you really enjoyed doing, send me an email and let me know. I will try to include a similar activity in the upcoming weeks' lessons. When you are finished with your Choice Board, you will need to upload your "journal" to padlet: https://padlet.com/regand8/2yx7y026jc80 Here is the choice board and the journal:
